Every night, Britain generates clean electricity nobody uses, and pays to switch wind farms off. Every evening, homes pay peak prices for power. Juicy batteries fix both at once. They store cheap, clean electricity when it’s abundant and power your home when it isn’t.

What we believe.

For your bills.

Store cheap off-peak power, use it at peak. Same electricity, up to £840 a year less.

Assumptions. Household using 465 kWh a month. Without Juicy assumes a standard rate of 26p/kWh. With Juicy assumes shifting 418 kWh a month to an average off-peak rate of 8p/kWh, against a peak rate of 28p/kWh.

For the grid.

Thousands of Juicy batteries respond together when the grid needs help. They soak up excess wind at 2am and ease the strain at 6pm. The grid pays for that, and the revenue funds your discount.

For the planet.

Britain wastes clean energy because it has nowhere to put it. Batteries are the somewhere. Our goal is that none of it goes to waste.

We’re building towards a Britain where every home battery is part of the country’s newest power station, and every building has one.

How we make money.

Two ways, and both are on the table from day one. You pay us once for the battery and installation, at below the market price. And the grid pays us for the ten years your battery helps balance it. That grid revenue is why we can sell at £3,499 instead of £7,000 or more, fund a decade of software and maintenance, and never send you a monthly bill.

We don’t take a cut of anything you export, and we don’t sell your data.

One guarantee holds all of this together.

Every Juicy battery comes with our ten-year savings guarantee. If your battery hasn’t saved you what you paid for it within ten years, we pay you the difference. To deliver that, we manage the battery’s charging and discharging for those ten years. It works like a boiler guarantee that’s conditional on annual servicing, except we do the servicing every second, remotely, and you never book anything.
